Music Videos

I enjoy putting together music videos using live performance recordings, photographs, smooth transitions and titles.  You can see some of my videos below, which link to my YouTube channel. There are more videos on the YouTube channel if you would like to continue exploring.

Sonic Blue Jazz Combo - All of Me

This performance is from a "Battle of the Bands" gig for the Ottawa Swing Dance Society in 2016.  The band consisted of (from left to right) myself on piano, the smooth Vegas crooning of Michael Pytura, stellar sax of young Danny Ko, band leader bass riffs by Bohne Forsberg, seasoned trombone art of Art Katona, and the tasty time keeping of Ron Rancourt.

The Bread Boys - Meet Me In Toronto

What started out as a fun way to make extra cash by busking on the streets of Toronto turned into a lot of gigs for The Bread Boys back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. We played benefit shows, weddings, cafes and bars, and finally went into the studio to record this original tribute to Toronto, written by Herag Hamboyan.  The band members are: Herag Hamboyan (fiddle and lead vocals), Eddie Zwolinsky (guitar and voice), Albert Kaprielian (piano, sax, and voice), Anthony Lu (drums), and Karim Perry (bass).

Tribute to Val Suriano

Val Suriano was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.  He later moved to Ottawa.  We ended up playing many gigs together.  He was a sweet guy and an amazing musician.  He was so easy going and would never need charts as he could play by ear in any key and knew just about every song in any genre.  This is a tribute to Val, who sadly passed away in January 2017.

Three Key Ridge: I am very excited to be singing with Vivian Byrne and Holly Gillis-Cox. Classic Rock, Folk, Country, R&B, and more. Here is our version of Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” recorded in studio in January 2020, shortly before the pandemic exploded.
